Timothy Girls High School is a boarding school that fosters a safe, peaceful, and encouraging environment for 500 high school-aged girls. Here, in a supportive environment, they can earn the qualifications needed for university, protected from the usual challenges faced by teenage girls in Uganda.

Timothy Girls High School Expansion Cultivating tomorrow: expanding girls’ education
In 2017, we launched a capital campaign to complete construction of Timothy Girls High School. Our aim is to finish by 2025, with proceeds supporting the operation of the Kibaale Community Health Centre, serving over 26,000 patients annually in rural Kibaale, Uganda.
Recognizing the pivotal role of girls’ education in national transformation, we have the opportunity to expand TGHS from 500 to 700 students. TGHS provides girls with high-quality Christian education, preparing them for university and leadership roles in Uganda.
About the Centre
01 Our Location
Timothy Girls High School is in Masaka, Uganda, located approximately 135 kilometers southwest of Kampala. TGHS is Masaka’s only girls’ Christian high school, offering a peaceful environment for excellent education.
02 Our Approach
We strive to provide a supportive and nurturing environment at Timothy Girls High School (TGHS), emphasizing high-quality Christian education. Our aim is to empower girls academically, spiritually, and socially, preparing them for university education and leadership roles in Uganda. TGHS emphasizes character development, critical thinking, and holistic growth to equip students with the skills and values needed for success in their future endeavors.

Our mission at Timothy Girls High School is to provide a nurturing environment where young women receive exceptional Christian education, empowering them to excel academically, grow spiritually, and develop into visionary leaders who positively impact their communities and beyond.
